Passengers can directly tap Macau Passes to enter LRT gates from 24 May

From 24 May 2022, passengers can tap Macau Passes to access gates of the Macao LRT Taipa Line directly. It is hoped that this measure will provide a more convenient and flexible travel experience to passengers.
Passengers holding general Macau Passes can enjoy the equivalent discount to the general LRT Electronic Prepaid Cards; while students, senior citizens and disabled persons holding personalized Macau Passes can also enjoy concessionary discount to LRT. As fare concessions are currently available on the LRT Taipa Line, during the promotion period, holders of general LRT Electronic Prepaid Cards or Macau Passes are charged from MOP1.50 to MOP2.50 per journey; while students, senior citizens and disabled persons with Personalized Macau Passes or LRT Concessionary Tickets are exempted from fares.
